David,s future was mapped out for him at a young age with his father Brian and uncle Ken both successful racehorse trainers. If you are looking for a true horseman give David a call.
Before gaining his full trainers licence in 2000 david was pre training and re-educating racehorses, time and time again problem horses that David had dealt with would return to the track and win races which enticed him to build a future as a trainer in his own right.
David uses a combination of many skills to get the best out of your horse, starting with a relaxed environment including large yards with shelters and a 1600m private training track. David has access to nine miles of beach and has had great success with horses previously trained in the city. He knows the combination of roomy yards beach work and his experience are enough to turn a horse around and put it back in the winners stall.
Another recipe for success is good staff and David's wife Pip who rides all their track work was a champion steeple chase rider in the United Kingdom riding 240 winners over the jumps.
If your horse isn't living up to expectations in the city or your looking for a trainer for your yearling give David a call 0421 049 035.
David uses the Taree racecourse for track work and is happy to travel to the city and provincials to race your horse.
